As a digital scrapper, the possibilities are endless as to what type of layout you can create to document your trip memories. You can create a page free form or use a template. You can layer lots and lots of papers, create detailed clusters of embellishments, triple mat your photos, and decorate forever. Here’s some great examples of these types of layouts with lots of layers and details from our Creative Team.
But what if you don’t like a lot of detail on your layouts? Maybe your approach is a bit more minimalist and you like to keep things simple. The important thing is that you’re documenting your memories – how much “fluff” you add around your photos is totally up to you. No way is right or wrong.
Our newest Pocket Layout Artist Tracie has a beautifully simplistic way of documenting her Disney trip. Tracie is also a digital scrapper, but her style utilizes a minimalist approach. The focus of each page is more on the photos with just a few fun elements, papers, journal cards and titles to fill a pocket. Check out her 4 digital layouts featuring Spider-Man.
Here’s 2 more layouts from CT Member Tracie. As you can see, she’s working through all the Avengers photos from her Disney trip. These 2 pages were made with the Wakanda collection. The pages are bright and colorful, despite only using a few journal cards and embellishments. We’re looking forward to seeing all the different pocket pages Tracie will be showing off for us these next few months.
