Here are the rules and instructions to participation in the Mid Summer Madness Slow Speed Scrap Challenge:
-
Create a layout following the 7 instructions below.
-
Layouts should be made with 100% Kellybell products or freebies. You must include some Kellybell Designs elements/papers and not just photos/clipart only.
-
Create a new layout for this challenge. Do not use a quick page or submit a previously created layout. It is OK to use a template from another designer.
-
You are welcome to submit more than 1 layout.
-
Post your layout in the Speed Scrap Gallery at Kellybell Designs by midnight EST Saturday August 20th. Make sure you select “Speed Scrap Gallery” when you upload your layout.
-
On Sunday, August 21st, the participation prizes will be emailed.
Follow these 7 instruction to create your Slow-Speed Scrap layout:
1. The theme is Disney characters. This can be from a meet and greet, character meal, character themed ride, character souvenirs, character decorations, etc.
2. Pick one photo and make it super large. The photo should take up HALF the page, either horizontal or vertical. You can add additional photos, but one photo must be super big!
3. Mat or frame your super big photo.
4. Use a solid paper for the layout background. You can add in other papers, paper blocks, and paper strips, but make sure a solid paper is in the bottom background layer.
5. Use the character’s name in a title, flair or word strip
6. Add in some pixie dust.
7. Finish your layout with as many decorative elements as you’d like.
Here’s the participation prize you’re playing for. Everyone who submits a layout following the instructions posted will receive a participation prize.
