It depends on how long the line is, and how long the wait is. I’d rather spend my time on rides, parades and shows.
-
I would wait more when my children were younger but now it all depends on the character and wait time as there is the rest of the park to enjoy.
-
If we really want to meet them yes we will wait in long lines as you don’t see them wondering around the park like you used decades ago. But we would much rather be on the rides we really enjoy those more than anything.

If there is a character we really want to meet, we will wait in line and try to plan for the time it might take to do that into our day at the park.

I always have to see Mickey & Minnie at least once, not every park. The other characters it depends on the wait. I love a character meal on a rest day so I don’t have to wait!

Our last strip in 2023 we did. My hubby and I took our oldest (5 at the time). We thought she’d be all about rides, but to our surprise was all about the characters. We fast passed (or whatever it’s called these days 😆) some and waited in line for others.

Normally, I wouldn’t … but since my grandson has been born we’ve waited in line to meet Mickey (several times). I also waited in a very long line to meet Anna & Elsa with 2 little ones who were friend’s of my daughter.

I really prefer not to but when you have little kids that really want to meet them we wait in line. I would rather be doing other things like shopping 🙂 But we always want to make it a great time for the kids one of the big reasons we go there tho secretly I would go if I had kids or not I love the most Magical Place on Earth 🙂

If it’s a special meeting, like MNNSHP nights where the Pooh Group or 7 Dwarfs are together, I’ve waited, no matter how long. (Much to my husband’s dismay. LOL)
If it’s a normal day, it depends on the amount of time that I’d need to wait.
