It depends on the page. I always include at least when and where the pics were taken along with who/what is in the picture. After my grandma died, we went through nearly 5,000 pictures that were not labeled. That was a nightmare!! Several people I used to paper scrap with would not journal at all. I tried to help them understand why at least minimal journaling should be included. One of them had 3 granddaughters that looked so much alike when they were younger that I knew it would be difficult to identify them later.

If it’s a vacation or special events page, I’ll journal a
more than normal. On every day pages, I journal very little. -
I don’t tend to journal as much as I would like or should. I tend to let the pictures do the talking.
-
It depends on the page. I at least try to put a month and year on a page.
I wish I journaled more. I think this prompt/question will make me rethink the next layout I create. -
I really should do more. 10 years from now (maybe even 10 days from now), I will forget what happened!
-
Depends on the page. Sometimes the title will tell it all other times I will journal a lot!

It all depends on the topic I’m scrapbooking about. I’ll usually at least put the date if nothing else. I tend to journal more on most themed scrapbooks (baby/kids books, wedding, travel, and Disney…however that can depend on topic). Only themed scrapbook I don’t do a whole lot of journaling on is our zoo album. It’s a compilation of all of our visits, so it’s more name of animal. I’ll do some extra journaling if I have a fun story about the pictures.

I really don’t journal much at all. I let a quote, word art or title. Mostly just let the photos speak for themselves tho I should probably at least put a date somewhere maybe hide amongst a cluster or something.

I really should do more. I remember what things happened but my kids might not later in life.

I tend to journal quite a lot! I love the stories behind the pages I make. Though, I’m very far behind due to the time I put into it all!
-
Normally I like the page to speak for itself…..I LOVE big word art, but I do journal on certain pages when I need to tell a story. Mostly I only do a little journaling on everyday pages.

I really don’t once in a great while I like to put a quote or word art maybe even a big title mainly I like the photos etc. to speak for itself.
